Sunset in Boracay – Directors Notes
Boracay Beach Sunset : This is basically a description of one sunset at Boracay Island which is one of the features of this island tropical paradise that has made it famous worldwide. As dusk comes on this little slice of heaven in one of the many tropical island destinations of the Philippine archipelago, hues of red, orange and amber glow in the sky as it awaits the sun’s repose. Beach combers and tourists flock to the white powdery sands of the beach and sit and talk while enjoying the last rays of the sun.
The water is still filled with swimmers of all ages and children playing by the edge.
Visitors to the island either sit or stand in groups or as couples staring at the horizon as it changes colors. Some try to take as many photographs as they can to immortalize this moment.
And in the distance, all at once, the sun has disappeared under the calm blue waters of the sea.
You can almost imagine hearing the hiss of the water as the hot sun touches it and ever so slowly the orange-yellow globe is gone for the day. There is still lingering brightness over the sky, and though this signals the end of another 12-hour cycle of the sun, it also marks the beginning of the night time activities on Boracay. One of the other aspects of the island that has made it famous!
Evening lights start to glow; music begins to fill the air even more.
And, as if beckoned by the coming of darkness, beach combers and visitors begin to slowly recede from the shoreline and head to their respective accommodations, to get ready for the evening’s festivities.
This is what a Boracay Sunset brings, every single day.
