BSTPO COLLARS FIVE LADY BOYS AND TWO COMMERCIAL SEX WORKERS

BSTPO intensified campaign in the round up of commercial sex workers, gay prostitutes and youth offenders in the Island of Boracay had resulted to the arrest of five lady boys and two commercial sex workers identified as Jhandimar Islamel of New Washington, Aklan; Aron dela Cruz of Kalibo, Aklan; Roger Mingue of Calatrava, Negros Occ; Roger Dumali of Roxas City, Capiz; and Jestoni Tonic of Polomolok, South Cotabato while the two female commercial sex workers are Anne Trisha Alacaran and Jo-Anne Eulalio of Tangalan, Aklan. Alcaran also faced a crime of bribery after she tried to bribe by offering P100 bill PSUPT Samuel C Nacion, BSTPO Chief when the latter asked her pink card. They were collared while Tourist Police are patrolling the front beach and inspecting the nightly establishments in the early morning of June 14, 2011.
Under the Article 202 of the Revised Penal Code, the crime of vagrancy can be filed to any person who is found loitering/wandering in any public places without visible means of support and who neglected himself/herself to some lawful calling. These gay prostitutes or the so called lady boys dressed, looked and act like a real women, in high heels, with heavy or thick make-ups and a lot of deceiving tricks in order to hoodwink their foreign manly costumers. BSTPO received reports that these groups are harassing foreign male tourists in offering sexual services and stealing the personal belongings of said tourists.
On the other hand, seven members of KABALIKAT Civicom-961 Boracay; Brgy Officials and Tanod Members of Barangay Yapak ; Tanod members of Manoc-manoc and a Port Dispatcher received an award “Certificate of Appreciation” from Mayor John Yap and PSUPT Samuel C Nacion, BSTPO Chief of Police during the Joint Monday Flag Raising Ceremony held at Barangay Balabag Plaza. The awardees are Punong Barangay Hector Casidsid of Yapak, Brgy Kagawad ReggieSacapaño of Yapak, Yapak Tanod members namely Leopoldo Sespeñe, Vic Gregorio, Fernando Botas, Zaldy Aguiree, Nimrod Taunan, Fernando de Juan, Rey Gregorio and Deloso Ducino for their assistance that led to the arrest of Ryan Didalan in a crime of Attempted Robbery that transpired at Puka Beach located at Brgy Yapak on June 3, 2011; KABALIKAT Civicom 961 Boracay members Joey Evangelio, Rodel Bachiller, Gaspar Rubinas, Ernie Evangelio, Albert Denosta, Bernard Balonar and Mark Alcantara for their assistance that led to the arrest of Reynold Sanchez (May 10, 2011) and Raffy Dalisay (June 11, 2011) for violation of Sec 5 and II of Article II of R.A. 9165 otherwise known as The Comprehensive Drugs Act of 2002; and Lilibeth Pelayo of Cargo Port in Brgy Manoc-manoc and Tanod Members Johnson Elisan, Bonifacio Tubi Jr and Delvin Anigan for their assistance that led to the arrest of Richard dela Cruz for a crime of theft (stealing assorted goods amounting to P52,000) last April 29, 2001. The awarding ceremony was witnessed by the personnel/members of other national government agencies, non government organizations and Local Government Unit of Malay.
